United States Michael Schumacher Rare Health Update: Racing Legend 'Will Slowly And Surely Get Better' - Online Teaching Jobs
The fateful skiing accident took place in the French Alps in 2013. Despite wearing a helmet, the racing legend’s head collided with a rock, leaving him with severe brain damage. Putting an abrupt end to his racing career, other drivers like Lewis Hamilton have broken their records and claimed their titles. There has always been strict privacy surrounding Schumacher’s condition, but recently a friend of many years gave us an idea.
F1 boss Jean Todt revealed to the German newspaper Bild his hopes that Schumacher’s condition would “slowly and surely improve”.
Moving on, Todt spoke highly of Schumacher’s wife, Corinna, how she has finally stopped him from dying.
The runner came out of unconsciousness in 2014 and spent nearly a year in a coma.
Todt added: “I have spent a lot of time with Corinna since Michael had his bad ski accident on December 29, 2013. She is a great woman and runs the family.

“She didn’t expect that. It happened suddenly and he had no choice. But it does it very well. I trust her, she trusts me.
“Thanks to the work of his doctors and the cooperation of Corinna, who wanted him to survive, he survived, but with the consequences.”
Although not specific about these “consequences,” the Telegraph reported in 2014 that the runner was “paralyzed and in a wheelchair.”
So we can only imagine that these are the consequences that Todt was talking about.

Although he is not the same as before, Todt credits the runners for his bravery and his struggle to want to survive.
Last month, another small but upbeat update came from F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone.
He revealed that although not yet, he anticipates that the driver will one day be able to answer questions about his health himself.
Schumacher continues to recover at his home in Switzerland, with his wife Corinna choosing the select few who can visit.
Brain injuries like the one Schumacher found are of two types.
As WebMD states, people can suffer traumatic brain injury or acquired brain injury, both of which disrupt normal brain function.
Traumatic brain injury (TBI) – This is caused by an external force such as a blow to the head that causes the brain to move within the skull or causes damage to the skull which in turn damages the brain.
Acquired brain injury (ACL) – This occurs at the cellular level and is most likely caused by some form of pressure on the brain. This could be due to a tumor or a neurological disease such as a stroke.
With severe brain injuries, people are likely to suffer debilitating and life-changing problems, leaving them with cognitive, physical and behavioral disabilities.
Causes of brain damageWhen an individual is involved in an accident and receives a blow to the head, the brain runs out of oxygen.
It is this lack of oxygen over a prolonged period of time that causes permanent damage.
